TIFF Time

Hello Loves!

It’s that magical time of the year again, where the streets of Toronto turn into red carpets, traffic is a every minute occurrence and common folk get the chance to rub shoulders with celebrities. It’s TIFF time!

As a fashion stylist, I have spent many a years dressing my clients for the red carpet catwalk. Meaning TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) has always been work for me, with the exception of a couple of parties, I have never really been given the opportunity to enjoy it.

Today marks the first day of TIFF 2016 and I am already off to a crazy start. With parties, premieres and brunches to attend, whatever will I wear? I am so excited to share with you guys some of the things I will be doing and seeing… I am especially hyped for the Lion premiere, staring Dev Patel, Rooney Mara and Nicole Kidman. The true story of Saroo Brierley, shows the raw emotion of a man who was separated from his family in India at age five. He was later adopted by an Australian couple and spent the rest of his life growing up there, until 25 years later he located his original home using Google Earth. I heard this story a couple of years ago and was blown away by what technology can do in our lives.

    You look amazing, as always, girlie! I love your romper, the style is so effortless and I love the classic pin stripe print. Oh, and girl, that Chanel bag is just everything! The film festival sounds like so much fun! I haven’t really been sharing or watching Insta Stories because I dropped and cracked my entire screen and so, it’s been REALLY hard using it, as it’s been so challenging to see anything clearly, haha. That movie sounds amazing, I don’t believe I’ve heard the story before, I’d love to watch it; I’ll have to look into it!     Filipa, this is such a great early fall look! I am especially in love with the denim jacket; it looks really unique and that faux-fur collar makes it a perfect piece for fall and winter. Also, thanks for mentioning that Lion movie; the story is unbelievable, and I can’t wait to see it.
