The Apparel Suite

Hello Loves,

On day 5 of Toronto Fashion Week, this look was the talk of the town! You guys also loved this look when I posted it on Monday… however this time I wanted to take the time to focus on my AMAZING custom denim jacket.

I am currently collaborating with the most talented lady in the world and I am so proud to call her my friend, Jo from Petal Suite. Jo is an incredibly talented artist that can literally do ANYTHING creative…, the woman is a genius. We have teamed up to create custom jackets under our combined title of ‘The Apparel Suite‘… So today I am giving you guys, my dear friends, the first sneak peek!!!

I am so excited about this project, we can literally create anything you want. When creating my jacket I knew I would be debuting the line during Toronto Fashion Week, that being said, I wanted to celebrate Toronto. When working together we came up with this design, I had an idea of what it would be like, but Jo’s hand painted execution of the product was… well more than I could have imagined! She completely made it her own and captured the Toronto spirit beautifully.

‘The Apparel Suite‘ is something I have wanted to do for a LONG time, I am so thrilled that it is becoming a reality! Eeek!! Although we are not officially launched yet and this is kind of a preview, if you are interested in getting your own custom jacket please e-mail me and Jo at filipa@playingwithapparel.com.     Filipa, this jacket is just so cool; I am not surprised your outfit was one of the most popular on TFW.
