Hello Loves!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! My weekend consisted of champagne, cake and mini cooper surprises! If you are confused by what I am talking about, then you obviously don’t follow me on Snapchat, but hey ho, because I still love you I will explain what I mean. Yesterday was my Mum’s 50th birthday and she got a mini cooper for her gift, get it? Great, now your in the loop. Let’s move on.

After posting my last blog a couple of significants were intrigued by what I wore to the much anticipated Nordstrom Gala. Most of you will have actually seen my outfit as it is currently my most commented on picture on Instagram (high five), but it is only a tiny little square image. So I thought I would upload a some larger images to my blog and link where I got things from. I gots you!

Metallic has pretty much been all the rage this entire year! From nails, to bags, to shoes, to clothing, to gosh darn highlighting your entire face to look like some weird bloody robot. It has been in, and it seems like it will remain trending well into 2017. There are so many ways to wear metallic. Stores are being stocked with various clothing items from bombers to shiny pants… But those together, and you are sure to stop traffic! There are more simplistic ways to add this trend to your look… I am currently wearing a metallically blue nail polish called Azure by Chanel.

I love this trend, it’s fun and quirky… just like me! What do you think?

    Nice dress and details <3 Seems like you had a nice Gala and your moms B-day sound like fun!
    I'm so also loving the Metallic trend. I wish I still had my metallic jumper from a few years ago, but it was sadly eaten by my laundry.
    Then my Metallic dress was ruined by wine last year :/ I don't seem to have much luck with metallic's.

    It’s the nuances which make this outfit ever so special, Filipa. The touches of petal pink from your bag. A slight glint of metal adorning the flap of the same. Those slivers of peekaboo lace encasing your feet. And, of course, the red of your heels. Our story would be incomplete without mentioning those. Sacrilegious, even 🙂 you’re quite the picture of charm and poise. So lovely.
