I partnered with Pantene to share my experience with the Pantene Nutrient Blends Rose Water Collection
Taking time for myself has always been a big important part of my week. I am someone that suffers from anxiety, so being able to have a moment to shut out the world and do whatever makes me happy is essential.
This didn’t stop when I became a mum. Ok, so it’s gotten a little harder to escape for a quiet pamper sesh, but it also became all the more important. I am the best mum I can be when I’m feeling my best.
For me, pampering has always been looking after my hair. I’ve forever had a love-hate relationship with my strands. My naturally curly hair is often dry and brittle, leaving me frustrated and even sad. I know it’s crazy to think that your hair can make you sad, but it’s true! Moisturizing and looking after my hair makes me happy!
I’ve used some pretty awful products in the past that have stripped my hair of its life. So, it’s important for me to use the right products, ones that love my hair. Recently I’ve had a new visitor to my secret self-care escapes, the Pantene Nutrient Blends Rose Water Collection. It gives love and life to my hair. They are free of all the icky ingredients like sulfates, parabens, dyes and mineral oil and are full of deep nourishing goodies.
The Rose Water collection consists of a shampoo, conditioner, and treatment (hair mask) and I’m loving it. Firstly, the scent of this collection is divine. The smell of roses makes me feel like I’m in a five- star spa. Even Sameer can’t stop sniffing my hair once I’m done. Secondly, I had no clue how incredible rose water is! In fact, the women of Morocco visit the Hammam weekly to moisturize their entire body in which each step uses a different treatment most of which are blended with Rose Water! Heck I’m moving to Morocco.
Rose Water is loved for its soothing and hydrating properties and I’m not going to lie, it really is wonderful. So, with this I make a point, every week when little Skye is all snuggled and happy with Daddy, I pop off for a pamper session. I don’t have to go far… just upstairs! I hop in the shower and wash my hair with the Miracle Moisture Boost shampoo and right away my hair feels moisturized, not stripped like other shampoos tend to do. Then I use the Miracle Moisture Boost conditioner which helps to tame my super frizzy hair. To polish off my pamper sesh, I run myself a nice warm bath, set up the laptop to play Real Housewives of wherever, apply the Miracle Moisture Boost Petal Soft Hair Treatment onto my strands and breathe. The added hydrating properties of the treatment is the extra moisturizing my hair so badly needs.
I’ve been loving my weekly pamper sessions so much that I actually look forward to them. It’s the perfect way to close out my week, relax and start my new week feeling like my best self.
