NYC Day 3

Hello Loves!

As I sit here, I am saddened by the fact that I am back home. Maybe it is because for some reason the skies have decided to rain down today, making this room dark and gloomy… or maybe it’s the fact that NYC is a city of wonders… a never ending story of opportunity… aaaaaaa.

– Day 3 –

We had a lot planned for day 3… a lot of walking… again. So I decided to dress accordingly… no more cut feet!

First stop was Chelsea Market (75 9th Ave)

Chelsea Market is located in the Meatpacking district, it’s famous world wide for its wide offerings of international cuisine. Also if your lucky you might catch some celebs… we caught Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camila Alves shopping around.

Tip: Grab a pie at the Tuck Shop

Next stop was Soho for brunch at the much hyped ‘Jack’s Wife Freda’ (224 Lafayette St)

This fashion blogger’s top brunch spot, was worth the walk… and definitely lives up to the hype.
Sameer ordered: Chicken Kabob and Stella
I ordered: Rosewater Waffles and Pimms Cup

Even though we were bursting at the seams from our delicious lunch, we had to keep a move on. Canal St was the next place on our list.

If your on a budget then Canal St. is your NYC shopping haven, there are so many things to look, touch, taste and BUY!

I picked up these cute ‘evil eye’ hand rings for $2

After heading towards the Financial district, we payed our tributes at the Freedom tower (it is still so surreal).

We also happened to stumble into ‘Century 21’ and spent rather too much money (22 Cortlandt St)

Day 3 really kicked our butts hard… so we decided to play it cool and grab an abundant amount of food at the Shake Shack (691 8th Ave)

With the Shake Shack being one of the must eat places on most tourists list, the line up was out the door… equaling in a major lack of seating.
So with Shake Shack in hand we headed towards the red tables and chairs of Times Square.

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

We truly had the best seats in the house, and the best burgers in hand.
Sat in the center of it all, we watched the world go by.
If you can, I would highly recommend eating your Shake Shack in Times Square, it’s like dinner and a show!

We got: Shake Shack burger, vanilla shake & cheese fries
