Mum Jeans & Cashmere Sweaters

Hello Loves,

My last blog post talked about raiding your mans wardrobe and stealing anything you admire, in this blog post I am talking about mum jeans (sorry ‘mom’, to you Canadians/Americans…I refuse to change the way I spell) and no I’m not talking about stealing your mums precious pants but getting your own. What ever happened to the mum jean? Why were they ever overthrown by the skinny jean?

The mum jean:

• Sexy
• Flattering
• Stylish
• Cool as F**k

There is nothing to lose, the mum jean is the ‘it’ jean and may it forever reign.

For the purpose of this article and to illustrate the beauty of the mum jean, I paired these distressed black high waisted lovelies from H&M (side note…shout out to H&M for stepping up their game I want everything), with a stunning classic Soleil Cashmere cardigan, I mean this cobalt blue is to die for, and the neck line with it’s boob friendly plunge… not too risque but just the perfect amount of sexy.

This is such a comfortable outfit that easily transitions from day to night. Rock this look with a pair of your fav sneakers during the day, or do like I did and throw on a pair of cute black heels, a perfect date night/hanging with the girls evening look.
