Gotta Catch ‘Em All

Hello Loves!

Pokémon, Pokémon GO! A year ago if you had read the headline, ‘Pokémon Stampede in Central Park to catch rare Vaporeon’, I would have laughed, if you had asked me if I wanted to play Pokémon Go… I would have laughed harder! HA HA HA! Oh boy would I have been wrong.

The change my mind happened while I was chatting to a few friends. We were reminiscing over playground games of Pokémon trading cards. Granted I didn’t understand how to play exactly, all I thought was collect the pretty cards. But it was good times, I made a lot of happy memories. So I caved, I am a proud Pokémon’er. I am sooo addicted to this game, however not as addicted as my husband Sameer. He is a little more extreme, this was his thing back in the day. However I am finding myself on a slippery path, lost between reality and Pokémon. Again I still don’t know what I am doing, I actually found myself in a battle the other day…. but I freaked and fled the scene (literally). I was scared and unprepared. I just want to catch all the cute ones. Still desperately searching for a Pikachu!

But for now I’m having fun, catching a million Drowzee’s (ugly things). Even my doggy Coal is appreciating me playing, I don’t think he has been walked this much in his entire life. Poor thing.

So, long live Pokémon Go.

Ciao for now, I gotta catch them all!!

    That’s so cute! Admittedly, I was a nerd as a child. I liked anime as a child and had tried the actual Pokémon game. Seeing how everyone is playing on their phones, I have a feeling I’ll be addicted if I start.

    I never was a huge fan of Pokemon even when it was a film, and this story isn’t for me. In my opinion, it’s just a waste of time, just don’t like it.
    Anyway, really love your look and the way you mix textures and cuts!

    I was a fan of Pokemon and I still have Pokemon card which are over 15 years old! I haven’t played Pokemon Go yet, I am afraid that if I start, I will get addicted to it and I won’t do anything more than playing it 🙂 x

    GIRL. I love you even more for writing this post. I am freaking OBSESSED with Pokemon go. Yesterday I was shooting for photos for the blog and I was annoying the hell out of my boyfriend because all I wanted to do was catch all the Magikarp in the water. I haven’t caught a Drowzee yet but it’s coming..

    Yup, I play it! Definitely gets me out of the house; normally I’m not one to go “walk around” for no reason unless it’s to the mall (which hey, plenty of pokestops there!) but my boyfriend likes to take strolls through parks and etc so this works out! Love your casual look.

      It’s actually quite good for a relationship, it has got my husband and self out of our daily routine… we go for walks and chat. I love it.

    Cool casual outfit 🙂 I have not even started playing. I’m scared I’ll get addicted, and I’m even more scared my boyfriend will see me playing as a sign that he should play.. then I think we would be in big trouble :p

      Thank you darlings… yeah I’m sure you will get addicted to it. However it’s not really a bad thing as a couple, it has been quite good for Sameer and I… gets us out of the house doing something different

    I just joined and was playing it at a wedding yesterday. I ended up walking into the back storage hall of the hotel behind the hall trying to capture a Pokemon. What is this game doing to me? Maybe it’s better to play in pairs for safety 😉

    Your Pokemon Go hunting outfit is too cute. I am the same way just hunting for the cutie pies. I was napping and my boyfriend found a pickachu and didn’t even wake me up! I think it may have almost ended our relationship right then and there. HAHAH kidding but I mean, come on!!
