Hello Loves!

You have probably already guessed by now, that I’m not a big ‘dress’ person. I very much like pants.

However, once in a blue moon I do like to don the occasional frock. When wearing a dress it is important for me to feel comfortable yet sexy.

My requirements:

  • Not too tight
  • Not too short
  • Feel sexy
  • Comfortable
  • Move-ability
  • Either boobs or butt… not both
  • something unique about it

Yes this may sound like a lot, and quite clearly indicates why I have such troubles finding dresses. But I am stuck in my ways, like an old dog learning new tricks… it ain’t gonna happen.

When Narces gave me the opportunity to raid their closet, for a big shoot at the Shangri-La Toronto, I quite quickly fell in love with this little fringe number. It ticked every box. Unfortunately the ‘big shoot’ never happened due to the photographer cancelling on us. But when your looking fly after having your hair and makeup professionally done, and are wearing a stunning designer dress, you have to find a way to take pictures. Thankfully the amazing hairstylist Cassidy (from @c.e_bridal), not only helped do my hair, but became a photographer for the day and took some super cute pics for y’all to see. What a hero!!

    My requirements for dresses is similar though I don’t think I’d wear something that hits my knees or higher. I LOVE the dress with it’s fringe. The fun 20’s flapper-esque design is so nice with your tweed jacket. Love it! <3

      Thanks Bash, it can be hard to find the perfect dress. But better have a list of requirements and feel like your outfit is second skin than be waste a bunch of money and feel uncomfortable.
