Fall is my favorite time of year for fashion. I’m a huge advocate of warm layers and fall is the perfect time of year to live all of my cozy girl dreams. As I prepare for fall 2023, I’ve started building my personal must-have collection for fall. As always, I have to share the outfit ideas I’m loving right now! Inspiration Board
I love doing outfit research on social media. Pinterest always has great inspiration photos for every style, and it’s a great place to get a head start on some upcoming trends in fashion. I’ve been curating some fall outfit inspiration on Pinterest, and here are some of my favorite looks.
Sweater Weather
We all know the absolute best part of fall is the chunky sweaters. I love that chunky sweaters in fall are timeless. You can always mix in trendier pieces, but a great sweater just won’t go out of style! In my Pinterest research, I found a huge variety of sweaters trending for fall. From vests, to cardigans, to turtlenecks, the classic sweater is definitely in this year. Here are some of my favorite finds for fall sweaters.
Fall Shoes
Often I find that shoes can be a hard thing to buy for fall. Boots especially can look dated fast, so it can be hard to take them from year to year. However, I’ve narrowed down a few timeless shoe styles that would work great with any fall outfit this year. Here are my picks:

I will admit, I was a little nervous that the Y2K trend would bring back low rise pants for everyone. While they’re definitely coming back at the high fashion level, I’m very pleased that we’re seeing wide leg pants with mid- to high- rises are still very much on trend for Fall 2023. Skirts and Dresses
Fall is an amazing time for family photos, backyard parties, and date nights. I love to have some staple dresses and skirts in my wardrobe that I can wear for last minute fall occasions. You should definitely have a sweater dress in your closet for Fall 2023, but you might want to invest in some trendier items too – like straight wool skirts and pinafore-style dresses.
