Embassy Suites Staycation

Hello Loves!

If you don’t follow me on Snapchat then you won’t know this (I attempted to keep it quite on the old Instagram and just enjoy my time), but a couple of weeks ago Sameer and I went for a little roadtrip to Niagara Falls.

Sameer and I used to go to Niagara Falls all the time when we were in University as a little get away. This trip hasn’t happened in a while but with it being Sameer’s 27th Birthday the other week, we used this as an excuse for a little #staycation.

We arrived at the Embassy Suites for check in time (3pm) to be greeted by a gorgeous newly renovated lobby and the friendliest staff in the world. We headed up to our king suite on the 40th floor… it was clean and bright with the most spectacular view of the falls. After a quick (or rather long) soak in the tub, we got our glad rags on for dinner. We were treated to a Keg Steakhouse spread… I had tuna tacos while Sameer enjoyed 10 oz. steak…. NOMS!

Later, after polishing off  a bottle of Moët we walked *cough stumbled* to the casino… where we subsequently lost all our money! Typical! Keeping our chins up we retired to our home in the sky for the most comfortable sleep in a loooong time.

    I’ve always wanted to visit the Niagara Falls. The hotel looks nice. I have styed with Embassy Suites before.

    Aw, happy belated birthday to your boo; you two are the cutest! Sounds like you had a wonderful stay, I can see from the pics that you had an amazing view of the falls, that must have been such a joy to wake up to first thing in the morning!     Friendly staffs are always the first thing that I consider in hotels. I guess, you’ve got the best view during your stay! Hope I could experience this too soon 🙂
