Aeroplan 5X The Miles

Hello Loves!!

Guys it’s that time of year again! I have been waiting for this since the last time they had this event. If you haven’t guessed it already then let me fill you in. It’s the Aeroplan 5X the miles event on their eStore. It’s nuts, it’s outrageous, it’s almost too good that it should be illegal. Ok maybe let’s not get that carried away.

As you know Sameer and I are avid Aeroplan miles collectors, in fact most of our flights are purchased using our miles. So you guessed it, they are basically FREE. Who doesn’t love free flights.

Since we learned about this eStore back in September last year, we’ve been raking in the miles. It’s simple, all we did was alter the way we shopped online. The Aeroplan eStore has most of the stores we already shop at, so instead of going to their website directly, we funnel through the Aeroplan eStore to make use of their mileage reward program.

Ok so what’s all the fuss, don’t they always do this? Well the reason we are super excited is because between April 1st to 14th, the Aeroplan eStore will be offering 5X the miles on your purchase. So retailers that normally give you 1 mile per dollar will now be giving you 5 miles per dollar. Ahh man this gets me pumped.

As of right now Sameer and I are planning our next trip, we are thinking somewhere WARM, it’s still so cold here in Canada. So the extra miles that we will earn for buying things like clothes to wear on said trip will get us to that beach a heck of a lot quicker. From electronics to skin care and everything in between, there are so many incredible retailers on the Aeroplan eStore. Even some of my favs, like Revolve and Anthropologie! Literally anything your heart desires is available. On top of that you earn Aeroplan miles to go towards your travels! YOU GET A VACATION AND YOU GET A VACATION!

    I do this with Virgin Australia and have enough points for a free flight to Europe! One way to justify my online shopping habit ahahahaha! But seriously, such a great way to rack up points.
