As many of you know via the overwhelming amount of Instagram posts (@filipajackson) last week I had the privilege of spending my time in the sparkling city of NYC.
Although I do get to travel to New York maybe 4 – 5 times a year, this time was incredibly different to previous ventures. Mostly in part of the STUNNING hotel I had the honor of staying in.
The Renwick Hotel, a brand new boutique hotel located at 118 E 40th St (Murray Hill), literally a stones throw away for the city’s heart Grand Central Station… an area that I actually don’t normally get the the excuse to visit, however I am now hooked… it’s totally my vibe. With walking distance to the fabulous shops of 5th avenue (very dangerous for me!) and of course as previously stated NYC’s main hub of transportation Grand Central Station being on your doorstep, you can be anywhere in the city in a matter of minutes!
The Renwick Hotel is unlike any place I have ever stayed I was greeted with such warmth and acceptance it quickly felt like home. This hotel boasts character and oozes inspiration from the warn brown leather jackets the staff wear (I actually want one… they are beautiful) to the tagged walls by New York native Gregory Siff. In the past this 1920s infrastructure has housed the likes of literary geniuses such as John Steinbeck, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Thomas Mann… I mean this is basically a bloggers paradise, if your not inspired within these walls then you might as well quit.
Not only does The Renwick Hotel offer character, but it also offers its guests charm and creativity, with every little detail of the rooms from the wallpapered bathroom ceiling to the DIY pigeon origami… everything is strategically placed to give you the best creative experience possible.
Thank you to all the fabulous people at The Renwick Hotel we greatly appreciate all your help in making our stay extraordinary.
