I really struggled to write this post. Firstly, the skies have started to SNOW again uggggggghhhh, why? It’s April!! Secondly, I have already written this intro and then bloody deleted it! WHHHHHY?! Lastly my parents and Sameer have abandoned me, leaving me literally holding the baby. I am currently babysitting three out of my four younger brothers, and although they are nearly all in their teens… I have struggled! They are all so opinionated about well… EVERYTHING! I give major props to all you mama’s out there, you are heros!
But I really wanted to get this feature out to you, so hear I am mum bun sat proudly on top of my head, face make up free and sweatpants permanently glued to my lower half.
So you guys all remember that a couple of weeks ago I was at Toronto Fashion Week. Well, while I was at Toronto Fashion Week I had the honour of teaming up with Montreal based online consignment store, Love That Bag, to showcase some of their amazing products. I was given the opportunity to choose two purses of my liking, one being the Chanel that I featured not so long ago in my ‘The IT Jacket?’ post, and another being this weird, quirky, rare and totally up my alley, Prada Spazzolato Gusset bag, from the 2012 runway collection. This bag spoke to me through the computer screen, it reminded me of Mary Poppins carpet bag (full of magic)… I knew I would never bump into anyone with the same bag, but if I did, it wouldn’t really matter as it would be totally cool and we would become the best of friends. But when it arrived!! Oh boy!! I was in love. I was so in love that this bag, that was sent to me on loan would have to become mine… and I am happy to announce that I am the proud mama of this crazy Prada bag. Love That Bag not only carries vintage pieces, but most of their bags are current. They offer a wide variety of designers from Coach to Hermes, there is something at every price point and budget. They even have an under $500 section where you can pick up a Dior shoulder bag for only $275!!!!
If you are looking for a new bag, investment or not, odd and rare, or modern and happening, Love That Bag is for you. They offer great quality purses at exceptionally low prices, and the most amazing customer service. Love That Bag is not only perfect for my Canadian friends, as with them being a Canadian company you can forget about the shitty exchange rate, and obscene duties. But they are also great for my American friends as the exchange rate is in your favor, equaling in MAJOR savings… woohoo!
I would like to thank Love That Bag for working with me, I loved every minute of it… my experience with their company was phenomenal.
Special thanks to my beautiful and talented photographer: Darlene (The New Girl)
