Matcha EVERYTHING

Hello Loves!

Canadian (& American) Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, and I have a quick and easy noms’worthy matcha dessert, that is sure to be the hit at any party. In my case, this is a great Netflix and chow snack.

I found the recipe to this delicious matcha loaf while watching my favourite yummy YouTuber ‘Honeysuckle‘. Naturally, I had to share it with you… after having a go at making it myself. But of course, it wouldn’t be a Playing With Apparel blog post if something didn’t go wrong. In the ‘Honeysuckle’ video, creator Dzung actually makes matcha muffins… well I am obviously not a baker, as I don’t even own a muffin tray! #Fail. So instead I improvised, spooning my mixture into a loaf pan… hey it worked! It just took a little longer to cook.

Now you are going to scroll down further to see pictures of my masterpiece, you may be confused when you look at them… it’s so small you might ask. Well here is the truth…. this is only half the loaf! We ate the other!!! It was just so yummy Sameer and I couldn’t resist! I know huge blogging faux pas, but at least I like what I am selling here.

For full recipe CLICK HERE (you will be hooked)… I also made the refreshing matcha lemonade.

I know matcha has been trending huge all over Instagram and I’ve been so curious, yet scared to try it because I’m reading that some people love it, while others hate it, but I guess I should find out myself, right? I think this may be the best and easiest place to start because I mean, who doesn’t like baked goods!? This looks absolutely amazing and so healthy, too! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great weekend ahead!

I actually think matcha bread sound better than muffins! I love making banana bread, so I think next time I’m going to improvise and add matcha powder 🙂
I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!
