Hotel William Gray

Hello Loves!

This past weekend was one of the best weekends I have had in a while. You probably already saw from my hundreds of Instastories that Sameer (@playingwithapparelmen) celebrated his 28th birthday! So to celebrate we hit the road and headed to Montreal for a mini staycation at the luxurious Hotel William Gray. Now a bunch of you are going to be excited by this as you actually asked me to do a review of this hotel, and may I say thank you for demanding such a thing, as it was AWESOME!!

The Staff

Let me start off this review by thanking the wonderful staff of this hotel. Staff can make or break a trip, the staff of Hotel William Gray went above and beyond. To the point of leaving the hotel to show us exactly where the coolest bar is (more info later) and to show us how to get in. It was amazing, we felt like part of the crew.

The Hotel

Surrounded by culture in the heart of Old Montreal stands Hotel William Gray. In it houses 127 luxury rooms and suites, a spa, shopping, restaurants, event space, a cafe, bars and some of the most gorgeous views of the city. When it comes to location this truly can’t be beat, it is in walking distance to all sites that Old Montreal has to offer and more.

The Room

Sat on the corner of 7th floor was our room. Walking in you are welcomed by the sun, this room was surrounded by floor to ceiling windows showing off the beauty of Old Montreal. It was everything you could ask of a hotel room, Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speakers, Nespresso machine, the most incredible multi jet shower, exposed concrete ceilings, gorgeous furnishings, the comfiest soft white bed, and views for days. There was not one thing that could or should be changed, everything was perfection.

Food

If your looking for food this Hotel William Gray has you covered. Order room service from their extensive menu, or head downstairs to their acclaimed restaurant, Maggie Oakes that boasts local produce and home grown greens. If your looking for something to grab and go, the Café Olimpico is the spot, located by the hotel lobby is one of the cutest Instagrammable cafés that has an extensive coffee, tea and pastry list.

Entertainment

If you are 18 or over then you will probably be looking for some drinks. Head to the 8th floor and you will find Terrasse William Gray, a stunning rooftop bar with some of the most gorgeous views and fabulous atmosphere. But if you want a break from the hotel then ask the staff to show you, The Coldroom, I’m not going to give too many details on it as it is a proud Montreal secret, but you can thank me later, it’s pretty cool.

Everywhere you look at Hotel William Gray is something fabulous, the amount of detail that went into this hotel is awe-inspiring. This will most certainly be our home away from home in Montreal.

I love their contemporary meets industrial design, it’s so photogenic! It seems like such a great hotel and the staff really can make or break a stay; I’ve had both fantastic and horrible experiences, so I know just how important it is. Thanks for sharing, beauty, I’m glad you both had a wonderful time and I hope you have a great weekend as well!
