FestIVALS

Hello Loves!

We are right in the thick of festival season! Although I’m sadly not attending any festivals this year (no one invited me… waa), it does not stop my excitement. I am all about festival fashion.

This year we have seen some awesome festival fashion, from gowns and sneaker combos to tiny details such as hair rings (seriously click here to check them out, they are grunge perfection). However when it comes to my personal festival style, I am all about comfort and affordability. I don’t like to spend a lot of money on my festival outfits, as I am destined to loose something. Especially when I’m loving life with a drink in my hand. I tend to scour the pages of eBay and flick through the racks of my local thrift store for a unique… one of a kind festival appropriate attire.

But the key to festival life isn’t what you wear, it’s what you bring! So here are some of my to festival essentials that are sure to make your epic weekend a breeze.

Bandana

If your like me and get sun stroke easily, then the sun is not a friend. However hats can sometimes totally ruin your outfit game. My solution, a bandana!! Cover your head … OR … for desert festivals this is a great way to protect your face from blowing sand. #Bonus

Sunscreen

Sunscreen is our friend people! Yes it can get annoying to stop your fun to saturate yourself… but it’s a lot better than having a crappy time because you look like a burnt chip (fry).

Wipes

Nope not disinfectant wipes, I bring face wipes. Why? you may ask… well face wipes are multi-functional. Clean your hands after your bathroom business or take your makeup off… DUH!

Deodorant

Kinda speaks for itself… no one wants to hangout with Mrs. Stinky.

Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizer is like crack for me at a festival. I put that shit on everything! (haha get it… the Franks commercial?!)

Portable Charger

This is probably the most important item for me, sad but true. Social media is my job, meaning I need to make sure I got juice! Battery packs also make me feel safe. I know that if I get lost, which happens a lot, I can always get in touch with someone… unless their phone is dead, then I’m shit out of luck!

Water Bottle

The holy grail of festival must haves. THE WATER BOTTLE. It is so important to stay hydrated… there will be no passing out from dehydration this time! Although most festivals won’t allow you to bring this in full, they always have refill stations. My fav water bottle? S’well, oh em gee.. this thing keeps your refreshments so chilled and also looks rather stylish. It is the BEST!

So whatever the festival you may be attending… stay safe, stay hydrated, HAVE FUN and know that I am incredibly jealous of you. Hahah.

Love your style, it is perfect for festivals and you look gorgeous! As you said it is important to choose something comfy as the last thing you’d want is to feel uncomfortable and don’t have fun at the festival! x
