Farfetch

Hello Loves,

With it being Award Season I have teamed up with the good people over at Farfetch, to bring you a red carpet look worthy of a Hollywood star.

When creating this look I thought of myself, what would my go to red carpet look be? As many of you know I tend to wear clothing for the comfort level so this was something I had to take into consideration. However I still wanted this dress to relate to my quirky personality.

Dress: Valentino

I opted for this floral embroidered Valentino dress, which yes costs the same as a car!… But it’s worth it on a night like this… right? This dress offers the comfort factor, as everything is covered, so you don’t have to worry about prize possessions popping out! Yet it still has that quirky factor with hand laid bead work.

Shoes: Dolce & Gabbana

With a dress like that Valentino one, you need to opt for a more muted shoe. However your no ‘basic’, so stepping out of the box I carried on with the garden theme of the dress and found these stunning ‘climbing rose’ sandals by Dolce & Gabbana. With the details of the shoe being on the back, it may go unseen but you will know that your look is on point!

Earrings: Natasha Collis

Ring: Shaun Leane

I think it’s safe to say, with a look like this your jewelry can be kept simple. You want just the simplest of shine for the camera’s to pick up on, but for it not to be obvious. I carried on with the ‘garden’ theme and chose a pair of drop earrings with the most delicate emerald stone, and a ‘cherry blossom’ ring… clean and simple.

Bag? No need for a purse when your on the red carpet…, your assistant will be happy to hold your phone and touch ups!!

Special thanks to Farfetch for giving me the opportunity to create this dream worthy look. Farfetch offers a variety of designers apparel for competitive prices (don’t be fooled by my look book… I did search for super expensive items).
