Body Update

Hello Loves!

So a couple of you have been asking me for an update on one of my main new years resolutions… getting myself in shape. I have to be honest this is a resolution I have been struggling with… HARD! I mean I really hate working out, and then there are so many distractions like eating chocolate cake under a blanket snuggled up with Coal (my doggy) while watching Netflix

Current Netflix Faves:

  • Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
  • Cooked
  • Happy Valley
  • Doctor Foster

and then bloody Orange Is The New Black season 4 comes on June 17th… it’s a never ending cycle. Ugh sorry I went off on a tangent there… back to the topic. The moral of this post is my wedding is coming up in just a little over a month and I need to get myself in order. UGH. I plan to get myself another gym membership (for the 4th time in 2 years… oh the shame), and attempt to do some sort of squat challenge or something at home. This is making me tired just typing this, haha the struggle is real.

I am so sorry and embarrassed that this update hasn’t been a productive one and I’m not able to be like b*tch look at my Kylie Jenner boot-ay but this is real life. Sucks.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get in shape, real quick?? Please help me!

    Haha, great post, Filipa! I love reading it! I think you have a perfect body. You are so in shape ;-).
    You can motivate yourself by hearing music at the gym or run with a friend, it’s much easier to make sport with a friend 🙂

    Great workout gear. I enjoy working out as long as it’s not too intense. A light power walk, plus resistance training every other day are enough for me.

    Ahh I really know all your problems – I also hate working out, but I really have to do it because I want to be in shape and a bit fitter than I am now. It really is something where we have to go through without any excuses 😉

    Honestly, I personally think you look amazing! So in terms of the wedding, I don’t see an issue with you fitting into a dress or anything, you look really lean and I’m not just saying this, you really do look great! If you just wanted to get more sculpted/toned, I’d suggest following along @Michelle_Lewin, this chick’s workouts are AMAZING! She also has a YouTube channel where her workout vids are a little longer than they are on Instagram. I follow her and do a lot of her workouts and have seen great results! I also don’t think you should feel embarrassed because we’re human and sometimes, it can be hard because life happens! I know you can and will accomplish your personal fitness goals, I’m rooting for you, gorgeous!

    I know what you mean. I always struggle to get the motivation to work out. There are too many distractions out there, mainly chocolate.

    You already look pretty athletic you know! If you don’t like working out, not eating between meals can already make a difference in a matter of weeks! 🙂
