5 Years

Hello Loves!

Want to know what my most hated question is?… Where do you see yourself in 5 years?! Ugh this question, it literally sends shivers down my spine. I mean I don’t even know what I want for dinner let alone being able to think of what I am going to be doing 5 years from now, when I am bloody 32!

As much as this question makes me want to rip off all my clothing and run around screaming, it also does make me chuckle. No matter what my answer is, it really isn’t the right one for the person who asked. E.g Them “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” me “I don’t know” them “Oh that’s so sad, you should have achievements”. Them “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” me “Living in Fiji, running my own surf shop” them “Oh, haha. No really where do you see yourself?” UGHHHHH! There is seriously NO WINNING with this question. Do they want me to say, “I see myself as a mother to a couple of little angels while my husband brings home the bacon”??? I mean in 5 years from now, do I want to be a mum? YES… but I also want to work too… I want to own numerous businesses, I want to travel the world, I want to move, I want to do everything I can do.

So, where do you see yourself in 5 years? I don’t know, but I sure am excited for the journey.

    That’s a horrid question I know! In 5 years I imagine myself with a kid if we are blessed and a bit more stable financially:)

    Hahaha! Died laughing! But seriously I can understand why this question gives you shivers. Funny enough, I’m the one who will always have an answer for this question. I plan everything ahead and want to have control on everything! It’s a problem. In 5 years I hopefully hope I will be blogging full time while still running my shop and may be another little child to complete our trio

    I totally agree with you about that question. It always makes me a little uneasy because I want to do so much and I’m not exactly sure where I’ll be in five years either. But I do love your outfit! Seriously going to try and recreate it haha 🙂

    I think living in Fiji and having your own surf shop is actually the BEST 5 year plan. I really hate that question too. I’m a very live in the moment type of person

    They say it’s all about the journey! It’s ok if you’re not sure where you see yourself in any amount of time. I’m definitely not worrying about all that, but working hard today and enjoying my life today.
